We are recruiting for Harvest 2025!
VINEYARD WORKER - HARVEST 2025
Job description
We are recruiting enthusiastic people to join our vineyard team working at sites across Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.
Work is available from September through to October with the potential to also join the team for other flexible, seasonal tasks throughout the year.
The Vineyard Worker position is a temporary, zero hours contract basis paying per hour for time worked in the vines, including a 15-minute paid morning break but excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and travel time. Holiday pay is accrued as part of this contract.
Teams carry out various manual tasks in vineyards for 7 to 8 hours per day (typically 8am – 3.30pm) from Monday to Friday in vineyards across the region. During the grape harvest, weekend work may also be available.
Due to the remote nature of vineyards, you need access to your own car and willingness to travel to sites across Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire. Mileage contribution is paid.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 days per week during harvest and require advance notice of availability. We will give as much notice as possible on days when work is not available, for instance, in extreme weather. Flexibility is required in working hours during the harvest period which is dictated by weather conditions.
Candidates must:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be physically fit and willing to work outdoors all day in all weather conditions
- Have their own transport and be willing to drive to work
- Have a strong work ethic and be happy to work as part of a team
- Have a degree of flexibility in working hours depending on the season’s weather
All work scheduling is via the PlanDay app which requires a mobile device operating Android 8 / IOS 16 or higher.
- Temporary, zero-hours contract
- Pay: Minimum wage
